Required Documents for Government e- Marketplace (GeM) Registration
- A Permanent Account Number (PAN) card of the business or individual is required. This is necessary for identity and tax verification purposes.
2. GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number): A valid GSTIN is mandatory if your business is registered under the GST Act. Sellers must have a GST number to list products and services on GeM.
3. You need to provide proof of your business address. Some valid documents include: ,Rent agreement, Electricity bill, Telephone bill, Any other official document showing the business address.
4. You will need to provide your bank account details. Typically, a cancelled cheque or bank statement with the account number and IFSC code is required for payment purposes.
5. If someone other than the business owner is registering the business on GeM, you need to provide the identity proof and contact details of the authorized signatory.
6. A valid email ID and mobile number are necessary for communication and account verification.
7. Private Limited/Public Limited Company:, Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA), Board resolution authorizing the person to sign on behalf of the company.
Partnership: Partnership deed, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Certificate of Incorporation and LLP agreement.
